Barbie Family! My guy said the one picture looks like an awkward family photo. Lol.

Barbie, Ken, Midge and Skipper, a case and just enough clothes to keep them covered.

I am not a collector, but think these are in pretty good condition for their age. I did not try to clean. They are as found. The clothes could use a cleaning as they are a bit dusty and tired from storage. The girl\'s hair seems clean and in pretty good shape, with the exception of Skipper-what can I say? It\'s what teenagers do. Wild, crazy hair and it looks like she cut her bangs herself. It\'s okay, cause she says she likes it. I think Midge is a blond but not not sure. Barbie prefers her red wig-says it matches her jealous personality better than the blond \"bubble cut\" one. When Midge is around, Barbie sticks close to Ken. Ken\'s hair is nice and slick, just the way HE likes it. There are a couple of little bald spots at the center front and a tiny bit on one side, probably due to aging, or breaking up cat fights between Barbie and Midge....

Their clothes aren\'t much to write home about. Midge\'s jumper and Skipper\'s dress are authentic. Not sure about Barbies outfit - it could be, but not sure. I think Barbie (THE Fashion Queen) got her DIY on and made Ken\'s outfit likely from a preprinted kit. She probably should just let him buy his own clothes... Ken does have a colored mark down the inside of one arm. Maybe he fell down, because his arms and head are a little loose, but he\'s still got it all together. The girls have Japan tattooed on their feet. Ken was too chicken to have his done.

They live in their tiny house case. It\'s pretty clean, but the handle is broken in one spot. Perhaps it could be replaced or carefully glued back together. It originally belonged to Charlotte, as noted on the inside top corner of lid. The cardboard box is pretty bent, but still holds their few accessories. Ken has two pair of shoes, a pair of black dress shoes that tie that are soft and squishy. I did not see the word Japan on them, but there are raised areas on the sole near the heel. The light colored pair are a harder plastic and are marked \"made in HK\".

Because they all live in their tiny house, it\'s easy to pick up and move. They\'ve been living here in the closet for a long time, so they are ready for a change of scenery. Maybe Midge can find a guy of her own...

Based on what little research, I\'ve done, I think these are from around 1962, and Barbie, the Fashion Queen from 1963? Please look at the marks and see what you think. If you have any questions, please ask.

Happy offerding!
