You are offerding on a vintage (soon to become antique) APOLLO EPNS silver plated cocktail shaker by Bernard Rice\'s Sons, Inc.(circa 1924). I believe this to be in the Art Deco style of the 20\'s & 30\'s, however, I have not been able to find anything similar with the squared, geometric, almost Grecian style handle. This makes this piece unusual if not rare. The cocktail shaker is made of electroplated nickel silver (EPNS), it stands 9-1/2\"H x 7\"W (from handle to spout). The spout has a removable screw on cap. The bottom is engraved with the following: APOLLO EPNS MADE IN U.S.A. BY BERNARD RICE\'S SONS, INC. 4348. Beneath the cap of the shaker is a retaining screw which holds the cork stopper in place. The screw is engraved with the following: PAT\'D MAY 13, 1924. The reference to APOLLO is the result of the merger of the Apollo studio with that of Bernard Rice\'s Sons around 1920. Apollo studios of New York became a division of Bernard Rice\'s Sons. The cocktail shaker is in excellent structutal condition as is the cork stopper beneath the cap. There is however a slight indentation in the center of the top of the cap, which is repairable. This cocktail shaker is in need of a good polishing inside and out which would make it look like new.
