Vintage Large Brass Betel Nut Cutter from India in aFiligree Design.
It measures8-1/2\"long X2-1/4\" wide.
This isone of a collection of betel nut cutters, given to me by private families that I stayed with, during a 1 month trip to India in 1986.

Good condition - the blade is slightly bent, preventing the betel nut cutter from closing completely. Otherwise in excellent condition.

If you loveAsian Decor, these make a nice display mounted on a wood block or in a window box frame. We have 9 betel nut cutters mounted on a 9\" x 50\" piece of fine black walnut over the doorway intoour family room.
