Up for sale is this wonderfulcotton tablecloth picturing an African-American family. Each corner pictures a man hoeinghis crop while the boy fills the basket. The middle section shows a woman carrying a basket and two girls, one eating watermelon, the other holding a hen.This isprobably from the 1930s - 1940s.

The tablecloth measures 50 X 50 inches. The colors are very bright with little or no fading. The only issue I noticed was two quarter-sized faint stains in the center area.They are shownin the last pictures. The stainsare very light and not very noticeable,and would probably come out, though I didn\'t try. The border is a great aqua blue color with cotton balls and flowers.
