This is for a vintage handpainted gold on black lacquer trinket box/candy dish in the shape of a turtle. From tail to nose, the turtle is 6 inches, and is just over 4 inches wide. The inside depth is about 1/2-inch and he stands a little over 2 inches high with the cover/shell on. There is minor wear of the gold from age and there is some cracking of the black lacquer inside and on the bottom. The top rests loosely on the bottom.
