I bought this parasol at an sale.there is a patent mark on the copper release mecognisum on this parasol.It reads pat apr 10 86.that makes this parasol 128 years old.That my folks is one very old parasol.Since I got this parasol about 20 years ago I have looked at thousands of different parasols.I haven\'t run across another that\'s made of blackthorn. This measures 32 3/4 inches.the silk is not origional.there were only threads remaining when I got it.I had it replaced with some silklike material 20 years ago.It could pro only use another covering.
