Blenko Heavy Ashtray #452 in Jade GreenThis is a rare color for Blenko glass. Jade Green was used only in 1958 by Wayne Husted designs. This ashtray is very heavy, weighing almost 3.5lbs. It has a lovely green color that hide some of its imperfections well. The ashtray has some marks on it. This is to be expected with heavy vintage glass. Especially glass that had a function and was probably used quite frequently. By no means does any of the small marks take away from the beauty of the piece. I am aware that pieces from Spring of 1958 had a sandblasted logo, but this was either made earlier in the year or it has completely worn away. No logo is present on the bottom.
