Gorgeous vintage cotton chenille bedspread has a beautiful pattern of peach and blue flowers surrounded by snowy white tufting on a white background. The flowers are nicely detailed, in two different designs, with each flower having a darker colored center. The sides feature rows of peach and white chenille arranged in a scallop pattern.
It measures about 88\" wide x 98\" long and has square corners. It is shown here on a high double bed.
It is in excellent vintage condition. I can find no rips, tears, holes or missing chenille. I see a very pale yellowish mark (see photo), which is difficult to see and was only visible to me when I had the spread on the clothesline in bright light. I was unable to see or find or find the mark when I was doing the photos, and had to take this back outside to the clothesline to find and photograph it. I also see a couple yellowish marks on the left side, where the spread hangs down the side of the bed (see photo). I have not tried to remove the marks.
Looks great and displays beautifully!
This has been laundered in Dreft, line dried, and is fresh, clean and ready to use.
