The Art of Needlecraft by R.K & M.I.R Polkinghorne published by Morrison & Gibb Ltd during the 1940\'s.This is a very comprehensive manual covering all aspects of needlecraft over 600+ pages including: and much more.There are 32 art plates and over 300 diagrams to help the reader get a full understanding of each discipline. Printed in the mid-1940\'s this example is in good condition for its age. There is a little browning around the page edges and the front cover has lifted slightly from the spine but the binding is still firm.A fantastic reference book for any budding seamstress or a lovely gift for an Interior Design/Fashion student.Please study the images carefully as they form part of the description.
