Open side slits that go to the hip
Tie straps at the sides of the waist
Elastic gathered leg openings

Made of striped indigo dyed cotton fabrics
A hand-made utilitarian object, heavily used over time

CONDITION:

This piece was used as a utilitarian object made from multiple layers of extensively repaired and patched fabrics over time. There is part of a hook clasp at the side of the waist but one end of it is missing. The signs of age and time should be considered marks of the garment\'s history and authenticity.MEASUREMENTS:

Waist (adjustable): approximately 14.25 inches [28 cm] across (22 inches around) with the side slits pulled shut
Length: 38 inches [97 cm] from the waist to the end of the leg
