Vintage 1900-1940 British Sterling 3D CHIM Opening Church Charm with Wedding Inside ~ Stunning DetailYou are offerding on a Vintage 1900-1940 British Sterling3D CHIM Opening Church Charm with a Wedding Inside that was on a turn of the century vintage bracelet made up of all different British charms which was really neat (see the Nuvo Bible, the Treasure Chest, the Water Pitcher that opens, the Pisces Zodiac Fish, etc...). This charm is very old with beautiful sterling details of the Church with a square tower, shingled roof, portico in the front, windows along the sanctuary, and each side of the church is designed with different features making this an absolutely stunning charm. When you open the secure hinge, you find a clergyman performing a wedding with a bride in a full train wedding gown, the groom, and a little flower girl behind the couple. On the bottom of the charm you see a heart where one couldchoose to engraveinitials (this charm is not engraved). The charmis fairly large and heavy, weighing 7.73 grams.I was unable tofind the maker mark on this stunning charm, but tested it and it is guaranteed to be sterling and know that this particular charm is a CHIM. The photographs above are taken from each side of the charm close-up so you can see theornate detail of thearchitecture of this stone church and its many windows. This charm has avery rich patina, which I think adds to the beauty of this vintage charm. I do not clean or polish charms or bracelets, leaving that decision to the buyer. The charm measures approximately 7/8\" tall from top of thetower including the loop for the split ring, by 1 1/4\" long (from the latch to the hinge),1/2\"deep (front entry to the back of the church). For the collector ofvintage British Sterlingmechanical/ openingcharms that are in great condition, this would be a lovely addition. The photos above show what great shape it is in for such avintage charm.
