We recently picked this up at a local sale house and were told it was off of a vintage fire truck, we were also told it was a finial. We have done extensive research but have been unable to completely verify 100% what it is. It appears to be made of bronze and the piece measures 11\" x 7.25\" x 6\" and it weighs 7.7lbs. The only mark on it is the a number 5 at the top just behind the eagle. I have included nine pictures with mouse over feature as part of the description.
