An incredible Buffalo Scale Company platform scale that has survived many years of service. The base is painted cast iron and the upper weight slides are all gorgeous brass.Even in its original condition, it is beautiful as it is. There are some minor imperfections in the paint of the cast iron frame and platform plate and the bare steel on the end of the brass weight scale barhas some surface rust that only adds to the character of this unique scale.

The platform measures approximately 16\" deep, 11\" wide and about 3-1/4\" tall. The brass weigh bar and weights bring the height to about 10-1/2\" tall.

The only numbers we could find to try and identify this scale are located on the bottom. The frame has 9201 on it and the platform has 9202 cast into it.

This scale does function, weighing items placed on the platform and sliding the brass weights accordingly to the actual weight. Proper and accuratecalibration should be performed prior to any usage if your intentions are to use this for exact weighing.

The physical weight of the scale as it is shown in the pictures is about 23 lbs.
