Vintage Bullet Book Ends Brass WWII Military:

A pair of book ends made out of old bullet shells. I don\'t know a lot about military items, but I\'ve been told these may have been used in tanks (?). From around the 1950s or earlier. Made as part of an apprenticeship that involved working with metal.

16cm tall approx.  

I showed these to an sale house and they recommended a starting price of £100.  

They need a bit of cleaning up on the base but are very quirky and unique.  

Ideally I\'d like this item to be picked up instead of posted as they are rather heavy. But postage costs reflect the weight of the item.
