Charming Vintage Bunny Rabbit Pitcher: Dedham Pottery reproduction by The Potting Shed of Concord Mass. Measuresapproximately 7 1/2\" from tip of spout to end of handle and7 1/2\" high. Hand painted and signed by Pottery Shed artist in 1987. Made in USA. Traditionaldesign of Dedham Pottery with crackle glaze and cobalt bunny rabbits in a band around the center.
The original Dedham Pottery design of bunnies was designed by Alice Morse and Joseph Lindon Smith of the Museum of Fine Arts School, Boston. From 1892 until it closed in 1943, this pattern, a munching bunny,was the company\'s best seller. From the mid-70\'s The Potting Shed of Concord, Massachusetts has been reproducing this Dedham design all hand finished, hand painted and glazed.The crackle glaze isa replication of the original Dedham crackledesign.
