Vintage marked \"Carlton Ware - Made in England\" porcelain ashtray. Image of two English gents with red cheeks & a half bottle of liquor inside. Around the outside it has \"We are given our relations - Thank God we can choose our friends\". Embossed 1755 on the bottom.Measures approx 3 1/2\" at its widest & 3/4\" tall. Has some crackling due to age & some paint loss around the top rim. No chips or cracks, very good vintage condition. Pretty cool old piece, suspect c.1940 but not certain.
