Here is a lovely vintage set of Carlton Ware, England, pottery, including a large teapot and 4 teacups with legs & feet. All feet have polka-dotted socks and different colored Mary Jane shoes. Thick, creamy glaze, marked 1973. Three cups measure approximately 3 ¾ inches high, one is slightly smaller with thinner handle (adorable!) Teapot measures 8 inches tall including finial on top of lid. In excellent condition, with minuscule flea bite on teapot spout lip, tiny, tiny bit of roughness on tip of yellow shoe, and strap of brown shoe. NO crazing to cups, teapot has crazing on the belly. Some delightful minor irregularities that prove it was hand done. From a smoke free home. Questions welcome!
