Up for your consideration is this very interesting wood bead chain and pendant. Many years ago I use to go to the Kutztown fair with my parents. I just loved all the dancing and music and of course the food. Yum. But the crafts were just awesome. There was this one guy who use to burn designs into wood and make magnets for the frig, pendants, figurines etc. Well this Necklace reminds me of that style of hand crafter wood working. The chain is gold tone in color and has no clasp. Just slip it over your head. Measures 26\" long. On the chain are 6 lovely stained beads. They measure 9/16\" in diameter. The round pendant 1 15/16\" in diameter is held on by a chain that wraps around it and is secured at the top by a hook that also has the chain hooked to the top loops. Look at the pics and enlarge to see what I mean. So anyways, the pendant is stationary and doesn\'t slide on the chain. The pendant is burnt carved on front and back with a flower design. The back is plain and just stained. The front has been painted with green and red. The red on the stamen is wearing off...view pics. All in all a really neat unique looking piece. :)
