Vintage Carved Lapis Lazuli Silver Gilt Ring, Large Size:

Unusual large lapis lazuli ring. The stone has been carved and pierced in a floral design and it is held by four claws to a silver gilt mount. It has been sized at some point and this has rendered the hallmark unreadable but it isn\'t an English ring. Its quite hard to date, I\'ve guessed at 1980\'s but could be as early as the 1960\'s, it has a sort of hippie look!
It sits very flat and is the perfect Yves Klein blue. The gilding is quite good around the mount but is wearing round the shank, otherwise a good strong ring.
Its size Q - a big Q and the stone measures approx 2cm x 1.4cm
