Vintage AntiqueCatholic Print of theBlessed Virgin Mary
There is no date indicated on this print, but I\'m guessing its from about the 1930\'s/1940\'s. The sepia type coloring and old art style are awsome! The picture shows Mary with her hands folded in prayer and lilies by her side. The caption under the picture reads:
VIRGO PURISSIMA
(which is Latin for \"Most Pure Virgin\")
It was printed in France by Boumard Fils in Paris.
It measures 11\" x 15 1/2\" including the white border (the picture itself is8 1/4\" x 12 1/2\").The paper is slightly yellowed due to age, but this just gives it a lovely antique look.
It has never been displayed. IT IS IN NEARLY MINT CONDITION. This is an ORIGINAL OLD PRINT, not a reproduction!
It would look great framed. You\'ll want to hang it in a place of honor in your home. I\'m sure you will get many compliments on it.
