Vintage Cathrineholm Navy 9 Qt Quart Very Large Dutch Oven with Lid Enamelware of Norway. The diameter of the opening is 12 1/2 inches - not including the handles. The diameter of the base is 9 1/2 inches. The pot stands 6 1/4 inches tall without the lid. In good condition. There are no chips or cracks or loss of color. The dutch oven is enamel over steel. It is marked on the inside of the lid and on the base of the dutch oven. Grete Prytz Kittelsen designed the enamelware and Arne Clausen created the lotus leaf design.
