This sale is for a wonderful vintage 4 string Chad Valley “Little Black Sambo” banjo made in England I have had since I was a kid. It features an adorable Black Sambo surrounded bysome wonderful musical island people! It is one of two tin toys I have listed on (the other is very neat rotating carnival/circus/World’s Fair ride, featuring four rides who not only rotate around but also move up and down ).Thisbanjo measures approximately 8.0” across by 18.5” high and 1.75” deep, at its widest points. It is stamped, “Made in England” and “Chad Valley”. It is in beautiful condition for its age with the exception ofa few minute surface scratches (please see photos), very, very minute barely noticeable. However, for those reasons, I am listing it “as is”.This wonderful vintage tin toy comes from a smoke free Environment.
