Lovely original painted chalkware statue of Saint Rita. Great age and patina. Would make a lovely addition to a collection. Lots of character. This wonderful statue stands approx 13\" tall. Paint is in very good condition. Deserves a special place in someone\'s home among a collection of saints. She is extremely heavy and will be packed very carefully to avoid any further damage. There are no chips or cracks. Signs of age. Signed by artist (hard to make out) and also stamped copyright \"Imagens Bahi MR 583/30\"St. Rita of Cascia: Patron Saint of the Impossible. May 22 is the feast day of St. Rita. St. Rita of Cascia was an Augustinian nun from 14th century Italy.
