Vintage Charles Serouya & Sons Capodimonte covered dish with colorful CHERUB scenes. Fair condition and clean.
Normally you wouldn\'t see a damaged piece in my Store\'s inventory but this rare and beautifully painted dish was worth saving. The lid has no damage (which convinced me to save the piece from the trash bin). The bottom was not professionally repaired but I ran 125 degree F water over it and it remained intact.
The damage repair is obvious on a one third view on the exterior lower piece (and the interior).
Measures 8 1/4 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide. CAPODIMONTE 702 ITALY hand painted on the bottom.

This lovely and colorful dish is clean, bright and ready for display.
