Vintage Chas H Fletcher Castoria Aqua Apothocary Bottle circa 1920\'s. Nice apothocary bottle! Great collectible item. From the 1920\'s. Aqua blue or blue green glass. Its nice and thick glass too. On one side of bottle embossed is \"Chas H Fletchers.\" On the other side of bottle embossed is \"Castoria.\"
A little about this bottle: In 1871 The Centaur Company was formed by Charles H. Fletcher in New York to manufacture Pitcher\'s Castoria after purchasing the rights and formula from Dr. Pitcher. He renamed it Fletcher\'s Castoria. He partnered with Joseph B. Rose who had purchased in the same year a formula, Centaur Liniment. Their financial backing was from Demas Barnes who became a U.S. Congressman from New York who served from 1867 to 1869.
Measures 5-3/4\" tall x 2\" wide x 1\" thick. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or any other damage on this bottle.
