Vintage Chelsea Clock 1915-1919 U.S. Navy Deck Clock No.1 ~Brass~ It\'s a Beauty:
$849.95

Thissale is for a vintage Chelsea Clock, made by the Chelsea Clock Co. (BostonU.S.A.) in 1915-1919.

It is aclock made for the U.S. Navy, marked Deck Clock No. 1.

Theserial # on the brass case matches the # on the clocks movement (132202),indicating a sold date of 1915-1919, so it’s nearly 100 years of age.

Itworks well (10 day movement I believe) and keeps very good time. Been in thefamily for several decades, and until recently has been in long term storage.

Theface is nearly flawless, and I do not believe this clock has had any work doneto it.

Theclock’s dial is about 6”, and it sit’s in a newer Chelsea Clock mantle piece(14”W x 4” x 9.5H) that I purchased from Chelsea Clock Co., along with a properkey.

It hasbeen polished up a bit (could use a good buffing) as the old brass hadtarnished and looked kind’a rough.

I havehad several folks tell me that a deck clock No. 1 in the brass casing (ratherthan black or phenolic) is quite rare.

Willpack well...may need a day or two to make sure it\'s \"correctly\" packaged.
