Up for sale is this 1985 Chelsea hinged front ship\'s clock in very good condition overall. On the back is a label telling where it was bought and the date of July 1985. Serial number 857304. It keeps good time but I\'m not sure about the number of chimes for each hour and half hour but it chimes up to 8 chimes 2 at a time. It\'s attached to a wooden stand with the booklet in the back vinyl carrier. Comes with a Chelsea key. I don\'t know if this is all brass or brass plated. I\'m sure the collector\'s will know. The front measures almost 5 1/2\" across. The face measures 4\" and the clock is 3 1/2\" deep. Nice heavy well made ship\'s clock. One key winds the chimes and the clock. There\'s a few marks or scratches on the brass but overall it\'s a beautiful clock. On the hinged front is a number it\'s a letter or mark and 44. I can\'t quite make out the letter if that\'s what it is. So needs someone to fix chimes. SEE PHOTOS. ASK QUESTIONS.
