This is a VINTAGE CHINESE COMPASS BOX.
The 3\" dia. x little less then 1\" high hardwood box opens on a pivot to display the compass and symbols.
The cover top of the box is decorated with scrimshaw style etched with \'feng shui\' figures and symbols.
In very good condition , just the inside disk need to be pup back in on one side only ( see Picture)
