Vintage, probably 1970s although possibly older, Chinese prayer bead necklace with amazing very big Peking glass beads, reverse painted with images of scholars and landscapes, with end bead and long knotted yellow fabric tassel. The beads have decorative brass end caps and are hand knotted with matching yellow thread. Great size -- each bead is 1 1/8 inches or 28mm in diameter. Wearable length is 24 inches and the center with fabric tassel drops 7 inches. Excellent condition with no losses to glass. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
