We are offering a vintage circa 1910 colorful Navajo Indian Pictorial Rug, natural and synthetic dyed wool in rust, golden tan, red, brown, gray, cream and purple. Bold graphic designs of two yei and two female colorful figures on a natural gray field, framed with double borders with graphic elements; the dark brown outside border, inset with a series of white crosses with red centers, really sets of this weaving! In good condition. Has definite A & B sides as shown (see photos 1 & 11); one side is bright, the other is faded. Three of four corner ties are present and intact. Selvage is tight on both ends, some looseness on edges. Scattered areas of light moth grazing and a couple of tiny holes, confined to the far right third section; this area appears to have been under a piece of furniture and is much cleaner than the soiled other two thirds. Would benefit from a good professional cleaning. Measures 76\" x 49\". Fresh out of an estate and offered here for the first time. Payment in full is expected within 48 hours of close of sale. Shipping cost includes insurance. No returns unless item is grossly misrepresented.
