A large Clarice Cliff \"Inspiration Persian\" Bizarre dinner plate
In excellent, with no chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines or restorations.
Of the \"Inspiration Persian\" design variations I think this is
the most successful due to its clarity of design and
strong rhythmic patterning which avoids clutter.
Entirely hand painted with rich subtle coloring.
Transfer marks on the back (see photo).
10 & 1/4\" diameter by approx 1\" deep.
The identification and dating of Antiques and Decorative Arts is at times a more or less subjective endeavor. For a variety of reasons, one ‘expert’s’ results can differ from another’s.
