For sale: Collins 75A-4 HAM receiver, serial 2072. My dad worked as a test tech at Collins for 38 years, mostly on PTOs. After he died in 2002 I began to collect more and more Collins gear. But now I\'m looking to sell some of what I still have... different house, less space, etc.

So here\' is my 75A-4 for sale. I added an after market 500 cycle CW filter... plug-in type. That\'s the only changes I\'ve made. Seems to work on all bands okay... on AM, sideband and CW. I\'m including what I believe to be an original manual... sure looks like one... in very good condition.

PTO seems in good shape. BFO works fine. RF and AF gains work fine. Band switch is fairly clean. I\'m not sure about the rejection tuning... I don\'t know exactly how one should behave... never tried a 75A-4 till this one.

I can ship via UPS ground within continental US at buyer\'s expense, or if you\'re within reasonable distance of north side of KC MO you could pick up the radio instead. Cost to ship is determined by UPS based on weight and size of box, when sent from Platte City, MO. Sorry I can\'t be exact at this time. I\'d guess around $50 - $60 to ship.

user pointed out the light bulb cover above the noise limiter knob. The socket seems to be wired to the BFO on/off switch but there is no bulb in the socket. user says this makes the receiver non-collectable. The manual does not show this light bulb cover in any of the UPS ground ship cost to $50 anywhere within CONUS. Or you can pick up the receiver on the NW side of KC MO.
