Up for sale is a gorgeous solid wooden carved spindle rail wooden hanging display shelf. This is a nice and heavy piece, has been made well and is solid. I found only one other piece like this that sold in 2013, that was identical to this and they identified it as Stiffel and being made of walnut. I don\'t know if Stiffel manufactured wooden items, but this is a nice display shelf that has held up well over the years.. They dated this back to 1940. It\'s got beautiful spindle \"rails\" and a drawer that pulls out with brass knobs. The shelving sits on a tapered wooden base, this can stand on a table or desk or can be mounted on the wall. I found this gorgeous piece at a local wealthy estate and there was some hardware inside the drawer, I\'m assuming for safe mounting, will be included in the purchase. This is in great condition, there are no cracks or breaks and only minimal signs of wear from usage and age. Please look closely at the pictures. It measures approx. 6 1/2\" deep from the wall, 11 3/4\" high, and 23 1/4\" wide across the front.
