Up for sale is a Vintage Copper & Brass Scuttle Ash Bucket, Made In Holland, Smiling Jester Face, 5\" with handle down, about 7\" with handle up. This is a very nice small and unusual Copper Scuttle Bucket. It is small and has a smiling ?jester face on both sides of brass handles. The handles look to be riveted in with copper rivets. There are 2 holes drilled in the inside of the big handle, so I do not know if something is ?missing from this. I am assuming that at one time it had a Delft Handle on the back little handle, which is now missing. This is hammered copper and is very well made, I think maybe 40s, maybe older. The patina is beautiful, but if you like it shiny I\'m sure it can be polished up. It measures about 5.5\" in widest dimension. Just a beautiful piece! It has a Made In Holland on the bottom.
