This sale is fora VintageCraftsman Wood Splitting Axe w/Original Wooden Handle & Label.It isin fair used condition.Has somedirt,spotty rust, paint/coating loss, wear, and scratches throughout. Wood handle has2 original labelson it. Labels are worn and faded.Handlehas a few small chips to it at top head area. No cracks.Head is marked. All edgesdo have some metal pushed in tothem throughout. Head is tight in handle.Splitting edge is somewhat sharp but does have some small chips to it.Head is7 3/4\", edge is4 1/2\", and flat end is 3\" x 1 1/4\".Overall it measuresapprox 35\" long.I do not know the exact weight of the head alone, but whole axe is approx. 7 lbs.
