Vintage Crochet Pillowcase Trim / Edging, 2 Matching Pieces, Ecru Ivory / Variegated Pink.These are 2 lovely vintage crochet pillowcase trims / edgings, that will add a polished, retro flair to your bedding. They can be added to the edges of coordinated or plain-colored pillowcases. Or, perhaps you would like to add them as trim for a child\'s garment, interior design pieces, or other sewing projects. (They can be used as cutter pieces if you so choose.)

Ecru / Ivory with variegated pink flowers forming a scalloped edge.
On each piece, the finished edges are joined to form a \"loop\" that is ready to be sewn or embroidered onto the pillowcase.
Total combined length of these two edging trims is approx. 86 inches, or 2 yards 14 inches (see explanation below).
Approx. 2 inches wide.
In strong and sturdy vintage condition.

***Please bear in mind that, for each piece, the measurement shown in the photos above represents half the length of the piece (since the edges are joined and each piece shown is \"two-sided\"). Therefore, the piece that measures approx. 22 inches in the photo above, is really 44 inches long (when you add the length of the second side); and the piece that measures approx. 21 inches is really 42 inches long. Together, you have a total length of approx. 86 inches, or 2 yards 14 inches.***

As with vintage textiles in general, there may be some scent resulting from long-term storage. There may also be some slight discolorations, minor spots, etc., and I have used the purple/white stick in the photos above to highlight the areas where I noticed these. ***Please note that a segment of one of these edgings is not as bright ivory / ecru as the other, as I tried to show in the photos. Perhaps, this may be remedied by laundering, but I cannot say so with certainty, as I have not attempted to wash these items.***

ABOUT THESE VINTAGE TEXTILES:

These items come from a collection I purchased over 20 years ago from an elderly gentleman who was then about 80 years old. The items belonged to his mother, who was of Eastern European heritage (some belonged to his wife.) His mother had been a professional seamstress for the major department stores and boutiques in the region where they lived. She also liked to do tatting, crochet, embroidery, etc. (usually with fine French yarns and threads), and additionally, sometimes bartered her custom sewing and tailoring for fine needlework items made by her clients and friends.
