VINTAGE CUSTOM MADE BOWIE KNIFE WITH PATTERN STEEL BLADE AND CUSTOM SHEATH:

I am not a knife expert and purchased this at a yard sale from a retired hunter who no longer needed it. The owner had only high end (expensive) gear and said this knife \"came out of Montana\". It is a custom clip-point bowie knife with a patterned (damascus ?) steel blade. The blade appears unused with the original edge and one minor stain. It has a brass booster and brass cap with a stag or bone handle. The handle has a nicely carved bear head initialed KIL. Inscribed on the brass above the blade is RR889 or possibly KR889. The blade length is 8 inches with the knife 13 inches total length. The custom sheath is in excellent condition. Please see pictures for condition and features of the knife and sheath. Thanks
