From My Personal Collection at is this excellent, circa 1910s-1920s, Oversize BIG BEN fountain pen from DIAMOND POINT PEN COMPANY. An elegant and beautiful model, early Red Ripple hard rubber, with clean gold-filled trim! Side lever fill system has been recently serviced with a new ink sac, and this pen is ready for ink! The pen measures 5.5\" (140mm) capped. Classic elegance, high gloss cap and barrel with nice, clean gold filled accent clip. A very collectible pen! No chips, cracks, monograms or personalization! Very glossy, with few surface imperfections/use marks found even on very close inspection (photos may show some lint on pen from polishing cloth)!! Nice original nib is 14K solid gold with a smooth writing tip, engraved: GOLD BOND – 14K - GUARANTEED FOR LIFE. Excellent nib is solid 14K gold, Flexible tines, Medium tip with tines aligned and good tipping material. Pen\'s fill system has been recently restored and this pen is in excellent working condition! Side lever fill system has a recently replaced ink sac, and has been flushed and tested for leaks. Feed system has been cleaned and serviced. It will arrive ready for your favorite ink!!
