UP FOR sale IS A VINTAGE CUP & SAUCER SET FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY. BOTH PIECES HAVE DEPARTMENT OF NAVY STAMP WITH BLUE AND GOLD PIPING ALONG THE RIM. THE MAKER MARKINGS ARE BOTH DIFFERENT, THE CUP HAS A SHENANGO CHINA STAMP WITH WHAT MAY BE A YEAR OF PRODUCTION (VERY DIFFICULT TO READ), THERE IS ALSO 68 AND 71 STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM. THE SAUCER LOOKS OLDER, THE GOLD DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY LOGO IS LIGHTER AND SOMEWHAT WORN IN THE CIRCLE AREA, VERY MINOR BUT WANTED TO POINT THIS OUT. ALSO, THE MARKING ON BOTTOM IS WALKER CHINA IN BEDFORD, OHIO AND IS MARKED 4-42 (THIS MAY BE THE MONTH AND YEAR OF PRODUCTION). BOTH PIECES ARE VERY NICE WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. AS MENTIONED, THE SAUCER GOLD IS SOMEWHAT LIGHT OR WORN DUE TO IT BEING OLDER THEN THE CUP. SHIPPING WILL BE VIA PRIORITY MAIL. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
