Vintage DICKSON Three Wise Men Three Kings figures/candle holder. Vivid colors. Excellent condition and clean.
They measure approximately 11 inches high by 4 1/2 inches across the bases. DICKSON foil labels Made in Japan on the bottoms.
No cracks, chips or stains. I find only very light wear to some of the edges. There is one minute flake on the bottom of the red King\'s robe that I have touched up with acryllic paint.
The red King\'s hat is open for a candle. The other two seem to have covers that do not pop off. I tried to remove them with a fingernail near what appears to be seams and they do not budge.I did not want to exert too much pressure on the caps.
The previous owner said she thought there was only one, with a candle opening, to represent the Star of Bethlehem with a burning candle. That is the way she used the set.
This lovely and vibrant trio is clean, bright and ready for display.
