For sale is a really nice example of a vintage Dr.Plumb \"Personality\" Briar smoking pipe in excellent condition.
It has the number 8883 stamped into the bowl.
The band is marked SJV together with what looks to be a Christmas tree set into a shield. I believe the SJV stands for San Jose Vein which is a higher quality vein of Silver discovered in Mexico.

The pipe measures 147mm in overal length. The bowl measures 30mm in diameter (outside) at the top x 45mm deep (externally).
The stem is marked Plumb with a red dot beneath. The stem is also fitted with what looks to be a filter.

The stem fits firmly into the mount. I haven\'t cleaned the bowl as I prefer to leave this to the descretion of the buyer.
