Vintage Dundee Marmalade Jar Crock Stoneware James Keiller Sons.
Fabulous antique Dundee Marmalade natural clay crock or jar from James Keiller with a black transferware advertising logo.
There is no inscription on the base.
Excellent condition, nice and shiny and has survived the years without chips or cracks.
There are small age crazing cracks throughout that ad that period correct patina character.
This is a great vintage stoneware jar that once contained Dundee Marmalade.
It stands 4 9/16\" tall, measures 2 7/8\"\" diameter at the base, and has a top opening of 3 1/16\"\" in diameter.
With its appealing size, shape and crisp graphics, it makes a wonderful cottage chic style accent.
I\'ve seen these used as a catch-all for kitchen utensils or desktop items, a vase (dry or wet) or a planter for small plants or herbs.
