Hi Welcome!

For sale is this absolutely beautiful vintage Music Box from Germany. It is an unique art work, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features musical and prayingangels standing and sitting around a baby\'s cradle.This peaceful scenery is topped by 5 little angels that are elevated and attached toa golden pole with star.This beautiful item was made in the Erzgebirge region in the former East Germany by the famous company \"Wendt & Kuhn\". When the music is playing the golden pole and the little angels are rotating.

The musical movement is a swiss THORENS movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: \"Suesser die Glocken nie klingen...\" Has a working stopper on the side.

This piece is ingreatcondition and almost complete. One of the little elevated angels is missing the lower half of her arm. If that should bother you, you can easily replace it with a brand new one. They are available in stores. I never did that, because I likeit as anoriginal better. If you do \"Buy-it-now\" I will give you one extrafor free. :)

The music box is probably from the 1970s and marked with thewhite and red experticlabel and a stamp: \"Made in German Democratic Republic\".

It measures9\" tall and about 5 1/2\" wide.
