VINTAGE EARLY 1900s GERMANY PAPER MACHE TURKEY CANDY CONTAINER w/ METAL FEET:

DESCRIPTION: This is an old turkey figural candy container that is marked “Germany” on the inside of the tube insert piece that holds the head and breast piece to the rest of the body. It is from the early 1900s.

MATERIALS: Papier mache or composition with cardboard tubes, and die cast metal feet

DIMENSIONS: Measures about 6-¼ inches tall.

CONDITION: Overall in GOOD CONDITION. It has decent ORIGINAL PAINT with paint chips, and wear. The head/breast of the turkey is hard to get off and on, and sometimes, the tube that holds the parts together sticks on one side, or the other. So, you may have to make an adjustment or repair in that area. Or, just leave it alone, since it still displays well, anyway.

This is a neat old candy container that is just in time for the holidays. It will look good on your Thanksgiving table, Christmas and Halloween decorations, or farm animal figurines around your house.
