You can tell this is a very early one by the ridge in the middle of the handle shank . This was done only in the early years prior to 1920\'s from my experience . You\'ll be hard pressed to find a nice Estwing hammer even if you go to a hardware store. Very nice leather handle all original and a mirror finish on the claws and hammer face. They don\'t get any nicer!
