Sweet Effanbee Bubbles doll, 1924,marked \"Effanbee Walk Talk Sleep Made in USA\" on back plate. She has composition arms, head, and shoulder plate, with a cloth body and legs. Composition has crazing, cracking, and composition loss- see photos. Non-working crier in her cloth body. She has those sweet dimples in her cheeks, blue sleep eyes (no lashes), and open mouth- tongue and teeth are there, but teeth are pushed up into mouth. Cloth body is in AMAZING shape! Measures about 17-18\". She comes clothed- not original clothing as far as I know, but clothing is OLD: Silken panties (small tears in them- they are in fragile condition!), pink silken slip, thin cotton dress (stained) and thin cotton bonnet. Also comes with socks pulled on over cloth legs. She is adorable, and comes from my own collection- hard to part with her, but I have to.Take this sweet baby home!
