Welcome to my listing for this fantastic, vintage, camel saddle seat. This is a genuine camel seat and is vintage. It is made of wood and has great brass detailing to it. The seat is made of embossed leather and appears to be filled with hair and wool. The wood is in great original condition with no woodworm present that I can see and the brass detailing really adds to it. The wood pieces are bound together with leather. The leather seat is intricately embossed with Egyptian imagery and it is in good, worn vintage condition. As you can see from the pictures, there is an area on the leather where is it more worn than elsewhere, which I assume has occurred during its lifetime of its true purpose. There has been a crude repair to the underside of the cushion, but does not detract from the piece. Nowadays, these are generally used as footstools. This is just such a great item though that it could be used as a footstool or as a focal point in any room. It measures, 69cm wide x 39cm High x 34cm depth. These are approximate measurements and may be out by a cm or so.
