Vintage Eloxal Aluminum Faux Marcasite Brooch Pin Signed Germany 1950s Floral:

This is an unusual and charming brooch probably from 1950s Western Germany, according to the seller, to whose mother it belonged. It ismade of a treated aluminum, eloxal, and cut to look like marcasite. The metal is very light and stays shiny through the years. The design is loosely figural, a flower with a vase, ribbon or some embellishment; I can\'t really tell. The flower part has a green cast; the rest is all silver tone. The pin is in very good condition and measures about 1-3/4\" x 1-1/2\". There is a mark on the brooch that seems to read \"Made in [We]stern Germany\" - some of it is cut or rubbed off.

\"Free shipping\" is a misnomer - of course, the expense has to be factored into the offering price - but as abuyer, I prefer tosee the total cost up frontrather than be disappointed when the shipping costs are revealed as an addition. I\'d like to mark prices more accurately, as\"shipping included,\" butthat is not an option at this time. All I can do is my best to give my buyers what I like to get from other sellers.
