Guitar was built in the 70\'s in Japan. This guitar is built like a tank, you can feel how solid it is when holding it unlike the SC-350 model that is a little lighter and flimsier. Guitar has been worked on through the years, the tuners and original bridge have been replaced and I think the pickups are not original either. Among other issues, the back plate cover in the back of the body is missing and cosmetically has its fair share of scratches, nicks....it is not bad at all though -please refer to the pictures.
There is visible fret wear and I have detected some fret buzz especially around the upper frets above the 14 fret. Guitar is still very playable for the most part but that needs to be mention. As is, guitar has great playability with low string action, stays very well in tune and the pickups do sound excellent. Only issue is that fret buzz in some spots. Nothing is perfect in life :)
