I recently inherited these, I believe they may have belonged to my friend\'s mom based on style, design and age.Sweet 14K yellow gold diamond earring jackets containing 6 diamonds each for a total of twelve.
Designed like a wheel as gold spokes with diamond spacers set in 3 prongs. Stones do test as Diamonds. Size may be 1/70th or a bit less of a CT. I just got my estimating chart and I\'m trying to match them up to get an idea ! So \"maybe\" .25 total for the jackets.I\'m going to include the Diamond studs that were with these. They are set in a six prong setting, the stones have a smaller plateau, reminding me of the old miners cut (which I can compare to one of my mother\'s pieces). This is why I feel these are older. There are no butterfly backs with the studs.The quality of these stones is not the best, I can see inclusions with a lower powered loupe, and one stone seems \"brighter than the other. Since they are not side by side, that really doesn\'t matter.BUT, that said, they do have great sparkle and excellent fire. Paired with the jackets, they are absolutely lovely !I would consider these an \"entry level\" pair of diamond studs.My best guesstimate on the size is about 3.5mm, perhaps about .22 per stone, could even be .25 per stone. Between 1/3 to 1/2 of a CT total would be the range I think.Sizing is as accurate as I can approximate, not guaranteed.
